REGISTRATION AND LOGIN

WHO CAN REGISTER WITH MYTROX?

Registration is possible for business customers (commercial enterprises, public corporations and sole traders). When registering, please enter the domain of your organisation and (if possible) do not use your private e-mail address. Registration is via a form.

WHEN WILL MY MYTROX ACCOUNT BE ACTIVATED?

Your myTROX account is usually activated after 24 hours. Immediately after registering, you will first receive a notification in which you must confirm your e-mail address. As soon as your myTROX account has been activated by us, you will receive another notification by e-mail. In principle, every registration is checked by us, this is initially done via an automatic comparison with our CRM system. If you are already registered with us, your myTROX account will be activated immediately. As a rule, the data in the registration differs from the data in our CRM system, so we have to check the data comparison. We therefore recommend that you log in with your customer number (starts with 'GB') if you have a purchasing relationship with us.

Until your myTROX account is activated, you only have limited access to our digital services, this applies, for example, to the digital configuration tools, and online shop. See Employee Permissions below for more details.

CAN I ORDER DIRECTLY IN THE ONLINE SHOP AFTER ACTIVATING MY ACCOUNT?

You will receive authorisation to purchase in the online shop as soon as we have created a customer number for you. This is the case if you have previously placed orders with us. You can view your customer number under My Account Data within your company data. You will also find your employee role there, purchase authorisation is only available for the roles authorised to purchase and with administrator level privileges.

WHICH EMAIL ADDRESS CAN I USE WHEN REGISTERING?

When registering, please use an e-mail address with the domain of your organisation (@yourcompany.co.uk or similar) and avoid using general e-mail addresses (info@ or similar) if possible. Your myTROX account is created as an employee within your organisation, so we need a direct reference to you. For technical reasons, this is unfortunately not possible in any other way.

MY ORGANISATION IS BASED OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM, CAN I REGISTER WITH MYTROX?

Unfortunately this is not possible, the myTROX platform on www.troxuk.co.uk is only possible for organisations with a registered office and for delivery addresses in the United Kingdom. Appropriate platforms are also planned or in place for other countries, for example you can find myTROX in Germany at www.trox.de.

I ALREADY HAVE A TROXNET ACCOUNT. CAN I ALSO USE THIS DATA TO LOG INTO MYTROX?

TROXNET is the predecessor of myTROX customer platform, which was switched off in November 2019. Unfortunately we could not migrate the existing accounts for various technical reasons. You must therefore create a new account for myTROX, register here using our form.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD, WHAT CAN I DO?

You can reset your password at any time using the Forgot Password feature.



PERMISSIONS & EMPLOYEE ADMINISTRATION

WHAT PERMISSIONS DO I HAVE WITH MY ROLE?

Role Permissions are as follows:

Administrator - manage employees and full access to all functions within myTROX

Purchasing - access to shopping baskets and to order

Order history - access to order history without prices

myTROX - access to all configuration tools, TROX Academy and price interface within EPF

*these functions are only available if a customer number exists for your company. You can see whether you already have a customer number under My Account Data.


WHO CAN CHANGE MY EMPLOYEE ROLE?

Under My account data you can see who has the administrator role within your company . With the administrator role, the roles of the employees within the company can be changed within the admin area. Alternatively, you can also contact myTROX Support ( myTROX-UK@troxuk.co.uk ).



EASY PRODUCT FINDER (EPF)

WHY CAN'T I SEE PRICES IN THE EPF?

The prices are only displayed in the EPF if your myTROX login is stored. You can store the data under the menu item File-Settings-Settings under the Prices tab; the Show prices checkbox must also be checked in.

THE CONNECTION TO MYTROX IS NOT POSSIBLE, WHAT CAN I DO?

First, please follow the description above. If you still get an error message when checking the connection, please proceed as follows:

Your myTROX account must be verified, you can check whether this is the case by logging in at www.troxuk.co.uk

The password often does not match, for example because it has been reset in the meantime. In this case, please check the login on our website, ideally not with your standard browser . It is important that the registration is checked without a password manager (saved passwords in the Internet browser).

If your organisation works with a proxy, the corresponding ports must be entered. You can store this under the menu item File-Settings-Settings under the Proxy tab. Please contact your IT department if you have any questions.
