TROX UK Ltd has been officially registered with BSI Assurance Ltd since May 2011 and is currently certified as operating an Environmental Management System which complies to ISO 14001:2015 with the following scope:

The manufacture of heating, ventilation, and cooling and building solutions.

TROX UK Ltd is a professional and environmentally conscious organisation, which acknowledges the impact that our operations may potentially have on the environment. The clear objective of TROX UK Ltd is to minimize any impact on the environment by:

Preventing pollution, reducing waste and ensuring, wherever practicable, that measures are implemented to protect and preserve natural habitats, flora and fauna
Considering the effects that our operations may have on the local community
Taking action to eliminate or reduce, as far as practicable, any potentially adverse environmental aspects / impacts
Promoting environmental awareness amongst our suppliers, contractors and partners by implementation of operational procedures
Ensuring effective and expedient incident control, investigation and reporting

TROX UK Ltd will take all practical steps to ensure that potential hazards and risks to the environment are identified and that suitable and effective and control measures are implemented.

TROX UK Environmental Statement on Packaging

Here at TROX UK Ltd we take our responsibilities for the environment seriously and would ask all our business partners to do likewise. We follow the principles of the Three R’s: reduce, reuse, and recycle in all our processes including packaging.

As part of this we will ensure that our products entering the market aren't over packaged whilst continuing to offer adequate protection, to ensure minimal damage in storage and distribution.

We reuse packaging such as wooden pallets and crates to extend their life span; we also use other products for loosefill materials for cushioning in cardboard boxes and palletised containers

A large proportion of our packaging is from recycled materials such as wood and cardboard and as such is recyclable along with the other materials used. We would therefore ask that you to put these items back into the recycle chain after use or end of life, rather than send to landfill.
