as well as Volume flow shift by a corresponding LON standard network variable
The TROX VAV controller with the LABCONTROL TMA-RS or TMA-RE control component (TCU-LON-II operation type: room supply or exhaust air) can be extended by an external temperature sensor. The control of the volume flow balance of the room can thus be enhanced by a temperature control. The volume flow is adjusted based on the recorded temperature without changing the air flow direction or the room pressure. The actual temperature value can be connected as an analogue signal of 0-10 V or alternatively as a LON standard network variable by binding.
More details
Influencing of volume flow through temperature control in the TCU-LON-II:
The temperature control circuit (comparison of set and actual value) is integrated in the TCU-LON-II and the temperature is controlled by shifting the volume flow.
Volume flow shift by external temperature controller with 0-10 V DC-signal
as well as
Volume flow shift by a corresponding LON standard network variable
The temperature control circuit is integrated in an external temperature controller and a signal is connected to the LABCONTROL system to shift the volume flow.
Please note:
The TCU-LON-II system has only one free analogue intput on the room controller. Thus, either the actual temperature value or the shift signal can be connected as a 0-10 V signal. The other signal can only be connected via LON.
Control of reheater / recooler:
The TCU-LON-II can be operated on a VAV controller with an integrated reheater or recooler. Then the TCU-LON-II system controls the temperature by shifting the volume flow and via the valve position of the heater or cooler (3-point valve on site).
Additional function:
Switching possibility between heating and cooling via digital switching input
