Fire protection valves are designed for use in air conditioning systems and in addition to fire protection, they also have a ventilation function. They can be used both in supply and extract air applications. The flow rate can be adjusted via the two position control unit.
If the temperature of the air passing through the valve rises above 72 °C, the fusible link parts and the valve centre disc springs to its closed position where it is mechanically locked.
