The LABCONTROL Air management systems - An introduction into system characteristics, components and typical application areas
The main area of application of the TVLK is laboratory ventilation. It is used for the variable volume flow control on fume hoods. Because the exhaust from fume hoods can contain a wide range of aggressive substances, the TVLK consists of highly resistant material.
The connection diameter is 250 mm, which fits the standard connection of most fume hoods. In laboratory environments, many installations must be accommodated in the ceiling. For this reason, the installation length is limited to only 400 mm. The devices's functionality was optimised for this installation length and its resistance to unfavourable upstreamings allows the TVLK to be installed directly on the fume hood.
The TVLK can be combined with the LABCONTROL-LON system (TCU-LON-II controller) as follows:
