Moses Mabhida Stadium - Durban (South Africa)

The Moses Mabhida Stadium is situated in the King's Park sporting precinct in Durban on a raised platform. This newly built stadium is the second largest in South Africa and can hold 70,000 spectators.

The stadium is named after Moses Mbheki Mncane Mabhida, a former union leader who fought for a non-racist and democratic South Africa during the apartheid.

The architectural feat of the stadium is the Sky Walk, an arch elevated 104 metres above the ground offering visitors spectaculars views over the city and the Indian Ocean from a cable car. Inside the stadium, there is an ultra-modern stage, a sports museum and a sports institute.
