NEW CARBON CUTTING TECHNOLOGIES DEMONSTRATED AT TROX TECHNICAL CENTRE
Typical building simulation model created for TROX using EDSL/TAS software
A series of technical meetings have been launched by TROX to demonstrate the carbon cutting credentials of a number of terminal air conditioning systems. Speakers include Dr Alan Jones, Managing Director of EDSL/TAS, one of the leading companies in the Building Energy Modeling sector. These technical meetings take place in the TROX Technical Centre which is located in Thetford, Norfolk, close to main line stations and StanstedAirport.
TROX and EDSL/TAS have just completed detailed energy studies and will be releasing details on the VAV fan coils which show significant savings in carbon emissions. Other systems which are featured in the one day technical meeting include chilled beams, the use of CO2 as a secondary cooling medium in data centres and dealer areas, laboratory air conditioning and air distribution. Each session or module comprises a technical presentation with design tips and details of specific installations where appropriate followed by extensive testing and demonstrations in the laboratories.
All meetings are free of charge and there are only a few places left on the October dates. Full details of the autumn programme can be found on www.troxuk.co.uk, or alternatively contact Terry Farthing on 01842 754545 or email tfarthing@troxuk.co.uk
