The most important way to achieve this is through training. Many companies see this as an expensive waste of time, but as one wise management guru put it: “If you think training is expensive, try ignorance.”
TROX engages in regular training and development using its own bespoke training centre, which incorporates a range of interactive facilities. Since opening in 2001, this centre has helped TROX gain a high reputation for its training. Indeed, the local college now comes to TROX for advice on how to structure manufacturing courses.
Our training programmes are comprehensive, covering a range of subjects including quality, and health and safety. We also train the workforce to NVQ level 2 & 3 for production, which examines ability, competence and understanding to carry out the job they are doing.
