TROX Academy CPD Training Courses
In recent years the Building Services industry has seen a decline in the investment in training. In an effort to counter this TROX has established it's Academy which aims to provide relevant information and training on the products and systems it supplies and installs. The Academy also brings early previews to the attendees of future developments for comment by the delegates.
The Academy mission statement is:-
Exchanging knowledge and skills from research, system development and experience.
The emphasis being on the exchanging aspect, thus making the whole training process interactive.

OPTION 1 - Technical Meetings are held over a whole day at our UK headquarters in Thetford, Norfolk and cover several subjects all complimented with live laboratory demonstrations.

FAN COIL UNITS

AIR DISTRIBUTION
Review principles of displacement, mixed flow and high induction diffusers -typical systems for office shopping malls, airports, factories etc. - design tips, air change rate limitations
DATA CENTRE COOLING
Principles of CO2 as secondary refrigerant - overview of system design - resilience - energy issues - space requirements - comparison of CO2 and water based systems
DEALER DESK COOLING
How CO2 can be applied to specific applications - carbon emissions comfort criteria - overall design of system - typical floor layouts - system benefits
FAÇADE VENTILATION
Ways of ventilating or air conditioning a space but not using central plant, ducts, or false ceilings - ideal for schools and office buildings.
LABORATORY CONTROL
Brief review of important considerations for this application, together with full scale demonstration with two fume cupboards
After each presentation a series of tests and demonstrations are performed in the laboratories in the TROX Technical Centre.
OPTION 2 - CPD Seminars can be arranged on a variety of subjects and held in client’s offices.
